100 Years of the CIE

The CIE celebrated its 100th birthday in 2013.  Preceded by the Commission Internationale de Photometrie, the CIE was officially established in September 1913 following a conference in Berlin from 23 to 27 August 1913 which worked on the statutes of the organisation.  A celebration of the milestone was held at the midterm session in Paris in April 2013.

At our AGM in May 2013 we showed a presentation detailing the origins of the CIE and key achievements.  For more information, please see the CIE Australia 2013 AGM page.
