Welcome to the website of CIE Australia's 2021 Lighting Research Conference.  Researchers and members of the lighting community from Australia and overseas presented a variety of talks on topics relating to the core scientific work of the CIE, in what was a high quality and informative one-day conference.

Conference Afterparty

As the conference was online only there wasn't a conference dinner this year, however in the evening after the conference we hosted a 1-hour online afterparty for informal chitchat attended by around 20 people.

  • Student registration will require either enrolment records or a letter from a supervisor or Head of Department.
  • CIE Australia Honorary Life Members are welcome to attend for free, but should still register using the form at the link below.
  • Participants registering at the CIE Australia member rate must be financial members of CIE Australia or be able to demonstrate membership of another CIE National Committee at the time of registration.
  • Sustaining organisational members of CIE Australia are entitled to register up to five participants at the CIE Australia member rate.
  • Organisational members of CIE Australia are entitled to register up to three participants at the CIE Australia member rate.
