Welcome to the website of CIE Australia's 2023 Lighting Research Conference.  Researchers and members of the lighting community from Australia and overseas presented a variety of talks on topics relating to the core scientific work of the CIE in a high quality and informative one-day conference.

Additionally, on the morning before the conference we held the 2023 CIE Australia AGM, and on the afternoon before the conference we ran a Research Students' Workshop.

The conference was attended by 38 people, combination of in-person and online.

Award Winners

The joint winners of the Most Outstanding Presentation (audience award) were Vineetha Kalavally and Dario Maccheroni.

COVID-19

Although the conference is being organised as an in-person conference, we understand that people may not be willing to travel or to attend in-person events due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  Therefore, provision will be made for people to present and also to attend the conference online only.  This will also facilitate participation by attendees who can't travel to Australia.

Note that the COVID-19 advice may be updated as regulations and policies change.  For more information please contact conference chair Tony Bergen on tonyb@photometricsolutions.com.
